Copies of System IT contracts are now available through it.tamus.edu on the System IT Services page. Since this site is about making System information available to you, please contact me if you would like to see additional contracts. You will need your TAMU NetID to access the contracts. Instructions for requesting a NetID are posted at the contracts site.
The FOIA/Open Records evaluation team is reviewing seven responses to the RFP.
Procurement is finalizing the RFP for Member Governance, an RFI for a replacement of Maestro, and the RFP for digital mobile application development/support.
TAMUS is reviewing the latest RFP draft for Banner Services.
Siteimprove checks web pages, every five days, for spelling, grammar, broken links, and accessibility. The cost is 54 cents per web page per year. Any Members interested in adding this service need to contact me directly.
The System-wide agreement with Cisco WebEx allows Members to purchase licenses for their entire faculty/administrators at the low cost of $1.44/month/license.
Syncplicity licensing is available for all Members.
Contract negotiations with Workday commenced last week. They continue with a second meeting this week. Work continues on the development of an RFP for a Workday system integrator.
The TAMU Dollar Data Center evaluation team has completed its review of the first component (data center build out). Work will begin on evaluating the second (compute and storage) and third (managed services) components as early as next week.
Utilities & Energy Services is working with Agrilife to serve as the pilot of Cisco EnergyWise.
