With the transition to Workday, FAMIS Services is now responsible for creating and housing many reports that were formerly handled by B/P/P. FAMIS uses a product called Mobius / DDRINT to allow users online viewing of reports we create. We have received a couple of requests regarding the USAS report specifically, see below for the proper steps to gain viewing access to these and future FAMIS reports. Also, we wanted to provide some other basic information that may be helpful to you as we move forward.
FAMIS Production and Report Access
FAMIS Production will process payrolls based on pre-determined schedules. When we process jobs such as this, we include a summary on the FAMIS Daily Turnover Report. This is an email listserv sent out every day by the production group. To be added to this listserv, please send an email to FAMISProd@tamus.edu requesting that you be added.
Then daily you will receive the turnover report, and for Payroll related items just scroll to the section titled “PAYROLL”.
If you require viewing access to payroll reports, send a request via your Security Administrator asking for viewing access in DDRINT/Mobius for the related report. For example: FnnPUSAS <- “nn” is the System Part number associated with your Member. PUSAS is the report ID. The FnnPUSAS report includes the FAMIS report FBPR5063. This replaces the old BP5063 report that was formerly created by B/P/P. Since FAMIS uses DDRINT/Mobius, the report will not be sent to imaging systems at this time – but will go to the new repository.
You will need to specify which reports you want to gain viewing access to when submitting your request.

If you require access to FAMIS to review posted payroll, view payroll related tables or any other need, please contact your FAMIS Security Administrator. Each Member is responsible for establishing and maintaining FAMIS access for the users at their location. FAMIS Help does not have the ability to establish or maintain user access for most Members.
In addition to the DAILY Turnover listserv, FAMIS also utilizes a couple of email Distribution Lists to communicate important announcements. We currently have several, however our guess is that users who were formerly receiving these notices from B/P/P would probably need to be on one of the following:
- FAMIS Operations – A general announcements list used to communicate many types of FAMIS related topics such as new features, meetings or outages etc…
- FAMIS Workday Payroll – A list used to communicate to users who are more specifically concerned with payroll related topics.
You may send an email to FAMISHelp@tamus.edu requesting that we add you to one or both of these lists at any time.
Our general site on the web is: https://it.tamus.edu/famis/ Please bookmark this site, it will assist you in finding the help you need online.
FAMIS / APPC WebEx Meetings
FAMIS also participates in the monthly FAMIS/APPC WebEx Meetings along with System Office of Budgets and Accounting. We’ll report new features, upcoming changes or requirements and other FAMIS news at this monthly meeting. To be added to the APPC listserv please contact Teresa Edwards (Teresa.firstname.lastname@example.org) or Tracy Crowley (email@example.com) at System Offices.
The FAMIS Help team can be reached by email at FAMISHelp@tamus.edu or 979-458-6464. We definitely prefer email as this helps us get our support ticket started. We use ServiceNow to track and administer assistance to our user base, so you will receive responses from us using this product.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
